With 20 communities in Arizona, Colorado, Nevada, Oklahoma, and Utah, Western States’ Legacy communities have been caring for older adults and their families since 1996. By embracing a “Personal Touch Culture,” their associates make meaningful connections with residents and serve them like family.

The Goal

Wingspan was tasked with developing a branding package that mirrors the identity and personality of Legacy. We also needed to streamline operations for their in-house marketing team by helping maintain the communities’ individual websites. We also took over their social media to provide consistent messaging and increase engagement.

The Strategy

We kept their logo format and colors and created consistent logo sets for each community. We collaborated with the client to identify a voice that would appeal to their high-end senior living audience while capturing the warm and caring nature of their communities. For social media, we put an emphasis on building community and connection between residents and their families while aligning our efforts with Legacy’s new branding.
For the web, we combined their existing 20 sites into one responsive site with cohesive messaging. We added contact forms at the top and bottom for capturing customer info and a map that allows people to find a community in their area.

The Outcome

Legacy’s website and branding now have a clean and consistent look and feel that showcases the upscale lifestyle and personalized support they provide. Their social media presence has been focused on Facebook where they see the most engagement, but we’ve supplemented their reach by posting on Instagram and LinkedIn to reach a wider audience.
